Led a team of fourteen District Managers and one Operations Improvement Manager. Territory included Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota, with annual revenue of $275M; reports totaled 775 employees. Delivered a service level that exceeded customer expectations while flexing operating cost to match market conditions.-Reduced annual operating expenses $3.75M by analyzing cost per unit reports and developing action plans to reduce labor and fleet cost at existing operations.-Reduced Safety expenses by 18% through analysis of employee tendencies and initiating a safety strategy to address these behaviors.-Designed a gain sharing program reducing fuel usage by 8% resulting in a shared percentage of the savings returned to the employees.-Acquired eighteen privately owned haulers who ran a combined thirty-six routes; consolidated them into our operations while adding only seven routes.

Hired and developed a new management team responsible for improving efficiency, safety performance, customer service and maintenance expenses.-Reduced annual operating expenses $825k by realigning service boundaries.-Initiated and reorganized a Market Area Call Center consolidation, merging 14 regional Call Centers into one resulting in a $525k annual savings.-Renegotiated and extended 352 municipal contracts by building strategic relationships with the elected officals and city staff.-Developed an innovative partnership with the City of Blaine leading Waste Management to receive the residential service contract as well as build a new state of the art maintenance facility in Blaine-Served on a committee of very select individuals to participate in the development of a Corporate Operations Standard Guidelines.

Initiated multiple acquisitions into streamlined and profitable business. developed an acquired team into outstanding managers.-Guided the company into a new geographic market area by coordinating the acquisition and integration of nine hauling companies in a four year period. Responsible for negotiating acquisitions as well as merging companies into operations.-Collaborated with the City of Winsted to purchase property and construct a new, $2.5M hauling and maintenance facility. Coordinated entire process from site selection to opening.-Exceeded pro forma expectations on each acquisition through the use of project management and action planning skills. Acquired 84 routes; only ran 52 routes due to strategic integration.
