Founded company to create a full-service Internet Service Provider (ISP). Responsible for organization of company, building management and technical teams, defining corporate vision and leading new business development initiatives. Developed and deployed Tucson’s broadest range of Internet products and services including dial-up, ISDN, DSL, Frame Relay, T1, Broadband Wireless Internet access, Web design, e-commerce and hosting. Completed two acquisitions and built GCI into Tucson’s second-largest lSP. In 1999, Gain Communications developed and deployed the nation’s first two-way broadband wireless Internet access service (GainWireless) - a wireless service that later became known as "Wi-Fi". The system delivers high-speed Internet service up to 5-miles from various base stations and currently serves thousands of residential & commercial subscribers in Southern Arizona.

Joined company when Standard Microsystems (NASDAQ: SMSC) acquired Gain Technology Corporation (GTC). Helped transition Tucson and Phoenix GTC personnel into their respective organizations within SMSC. Responsible for negotiation and sale of GTC's Military Products group.

Responsible for organization of company, building management and technical teams, negotiating customer contracts, defining corporate vision and leading new business development initiatives. Formed strategic development agreements with leading industry firms including Maxim Integrated Products, Raytheon, Agere Systems and Intel.• Assembled the semiconductor industry’s most productive analog and mixed-signal design team which resulted in the development of over 230 products in 7 years• Established Phoenix, Arizona Design Center in 1998 which developed the nation’s first USB 2.0 chip and subsequently licensed it to Intel. Gain’s USB 2.0 design is currently used in 1B+ PC and peripherals worldwide• Acquired by Standard Microsystems Corporation (Nasdaq: SMSC) in 6/02

Was instrumental in the formation of a long-term strategic foundry relationship with AT&T Bell labs in Reading, PA in 1985 which led to the development of the company’s line of high-speed +/-5V video op amps. These product lines contained some of the company’s most successful and profitable products. Presented numerous technical seminars worldwide.

Designed and introduced hybrid and monolithic analog integrated circuits. Designed the OPA111 operational amplifier which set new industry standards and became one of the best selling products in the company’s history. The product incorporated dielectric isolation and wafer-level, over temperature laser trimming and was selected as Electronic Design magazine's cover story in February 1984.
