Founded in 2009, the South Bay Bicycle Coalition (SBBC) works to build a better, more bike-able South Bay. The SBBC is a non-profit organization working to make biking safer and working exclusively for the thousands of cyclists throughout the South Bay. Through advocacy and education, the SBBC brings together a diverse bicycling community in a united mission - to make the South Bay region a safe and enjoyable place to ride!The SBBC successfully completed execution of a $240,000 grant to build a comprehensive master bicycle plan for 7 cities which represent over half a million residents and 300,000 jobs. This is the country's first (and only to-date) multi-jurisdictional bicycle master plan.
