Over the past five years, I have delivered a number of different policy projects in Tower Hamlets, Brighton & Hove and the London Borough of Camden.After retiring from my substantive role in 2017, I now work as an interim and combine fixed-term contracts with periods of travel and learning. I am currently studying part-time for an MA in European History. Interim Principal Policy & Project Officer
Providing policy and strategy support for the Place directorate, I developed a borough drug action plan, refreshed the violent crime reduction plan and commissioned an evaluation of the Safer Camden Network. I also coordinated a review of council corporate buildings and mapped the council's fire risk assessment process to inform redesign. I stayed on for an additional seven months to develop and pilot a new integrated working model for estate-based services.
