I was the senior front-end developer for the west coast auto group, responsible for the maintenance and updates on 43 desktop and mobile websites for Lexus, Honda, Acura, Mazda, Nissan and Infiniti with cross browser and OS compatibility. Partnered with the design team to ensure that the finished websites looked the same as the mockups presented to the clients. Prioritized and balanced the workload on multiple client projects, working independently and as part of a team, estimating the number of hours required to complete various tasks. Performed UX research and advocated for the implementation of UX improvements. Interacted regularly with internal and client stakeholders to gather requirements and determine needs and objectives. Supported over 30 client production projects per year, building web user interfaces along with email communications and testing to ensure browser compatibility as well as remediating security issues from web scans. Created dynamic and responsive HTML emails using best practices, converting Photoshop comps into working HTML. Identified, recommended and implemented process and procedure changes improving UI and UX functionality during the software lifecycle and business timeline. Utilized Adobe Analytics along with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices. Updated and maintained the Lexus Encompass app for iOS and Android. Designed and built web developer’s toolkit and user interface, utilizing Agile methodologies, for use in a service-oriented architecture for the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC). Tools included HTML5, CSS3, Foundation 5 with SASS, JavaScript and JQuery. The toolkit was comprised of a style guide and documentation of implementation procedures and best practices.

Created web pages for the new Graybar.com e-commerce site using HTML and CSS (Dreamweaver and hand-coded). Researched and implemented best practices for HTML emails.

Evaluated, designed, tested, debugged, implemented, documented, maintained and supported new and existing applications in collaboration with IS staff. Converted Legacy project management application from Lotus Notes client to the Web—this was a complete redesign used across the corporation. Developed an employee performance evaluation application, monitoring over 60 job measures, and tracking competency and performance on each employee as well as by department. Created secure databases including one to meet regulatory and accrediting requirements providing reports and charts to upper management; another to maintain over 65,000 new and existing user IDs; and one to track data from 30 custom surveys for a variety of departmental needs.
