Steven Jackson is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SOTYKTU® and leads the commercial organization with accountability for the molecules end-to-end brand strategy, P&L management, culture, and performance. Prior to expanded SOTYKTU® responsibilities Steven was the Vice President of dermatology sales. Steven entered BMS as the Vice President of Worldwide Marketing where he was accountable for all elements of strategic planning and commercialization for key Immunology pipeline assets within the gastroenterology therapeutic area. Prior to BMS, Steven was the Head of U.S. Marketing for Janssen’s innovative solid tumor targeted therapy portfolio. Inclusive of lung and bladder cancer precision medicine brands. As a new therapeutic area at Janssen, Steven’s responsibilities included building the commercial organization, go to market strategy, and resource plan to successfully launch Janssen’s 1st product in the lung cancer space with an innovative, first of its kind treatment. Steven was accountable for the strategic vision for Amivantamab + Lazertinib to extend life for patients and transform the standard of care. Prior to Janssen Oncology, Steven was the National Sales Director in Dermatology where he fearlessly led a team of ~150 sales associates, managers, and directors, in the highly competitive dermatology market. He successfully launched TREMFYA®, the 1st IL-23 inhibitor in psoriasis. Steven’s authenticity, candor, and competitiveness enabled a thriving team culture. He always led by example. With passion, purpose, and a can-do spirit that achieved over $2.2B in annual NTS sales. Prior to Janssen, Steven spent 4 years at Novartis leading multiple successful product launches including, COSENTYX® the 1st IL-17 inhibitor to enter the rheumatology market, and Xolair® the 1st approved therapeutic option for the treatment of Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria. Steven was the architect to the brands differentiated launch strategies, positioning, and creative. Both brands exceeded business plans. Prior to Novartis Steven spent 13 years at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in a variety of positions including marketing, operations, sales training, and sales management roles. Building a breadth of experiences across 8+ therapeutic areas. Steven graduated from Hofstra University with a B.A. in Communications where he was also an All-American Football player. He is grounded in his 5 passions: Faith, Family, Football, Laughter, and effort.
