I was one of the early advisors helping independent financial advisors make the transition from commission to fee-based. Through this journey I have been able to work closely with some of the best advisors who have built great practices serving their clients while also seeing a lot of what doesn't work. I have had the pleasure of presenting to clients on behalf of advisors nearly a thousand times in the past 27 years and have also coordinated numerous conferences and given keynotes to advisors across multiple industry events. As the Managing Director of Advisor Relations at Buckingham Strategic Partners (formerly with Loring Ward), I led a team that provided a transformational experience to investment advisors who partnered with us (growing from $2.5 billion in 2009 to $37 billion in October 2023) . We helped advisors develop and strengthen their value proposition, which can never be commoditized, through a unique coaching style backed with best practices of what works. I have developed numerous client experience programs that are used by hundreds of advisors including Buckingham's Design Build Protect, Life Discovery and Feedforward.
