I developed and maintained relationships for both internal and external clients whilst delivering a wide range of diverse contracts to an annual value exceeding £3 million pounds. I identified new work streams, then prepared, planed and mobilise contracts whilst allocating and managing budgets.I helped develop new service delivery models for Helena Propertycare with the aim of giving a competitive commercial advantage in the external market.

My role was to identify, secure and manage a range of both internal and external client contracts, whilst promoting and embedding Health and Safety management systemsI developed relationships with a range of stakeholders, and maintained a network of external contacts of clients, consultants and peer organisations to support growth Within this role I also managed a large team including; an Estimator Surveyor, the Transport Manager, The Quality Assurance Officer, the Technical Support Officer, and a number of Contract Supervisors whilst also being responsible for the management of all subcontractors undertaking work for Propertycare

My role was to evaluate contracts to ensure that they delivered value for money and were commercially viable, whilst evaluating ongoing contracts against a risk matrix.I developed the use of supply chains and evaluated material specification to ensure value for money was achievedI developed cost estimates, projects and plans from initial enquiry to final presentation incorporating assessments of bills of quantities, price quantities and specifications whilst ensuring full compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and requirements of CDM regulations.

I managed multi trade teams, from the Building Services division of Helena HousingI deployed, organised and monitored building staff ensuring that all work priorities were met and performance standards achieved with regards to timescales, quality cost effectiveness and best value whilst operating in a safe working environment.I also managed all the pre-measuring and post inspection of contracts in order to achieve optimum efficiency and continuous improvement.

My role was to price up projects and packages of work, whilst assessing the fluctuating demand on the repairs service allowing me to respond accordingly with the deployment of staff and subcontractors.I supervised skilled and unskilled operatives including subcontractors, across the range of activities undertaken by Building Services ensuring that all standards where met with regards to quality, safety and value for money.
