When I began my journey in IT over 20 years ago, I always knew that no matter the title I held, I needed to make a difference in the industry - for my clients and my team members. Fortunately, I had the honor of navigating a career that grew with the industry and answered the call for solutions and security for State, Local, and Education. As the Vice President of US SLED for Okta, I am dedicated to the success of our clients, designing and implementing go-to-market strategies crafted specifically to the unique needs and security hurdles faced across our governments today. Before joining Okta, I lead several successful and high-performing teams through a variety of top tech organizations, such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Avaya. With a passion for growing those around me, I have had the privilege of mentoring and evolving performing individuals into high-performing teams. I believe a leader is only as good as those they surround themselves with, and I am proud to have taught others to do the same and take great pride in watching them lead successful teams of their own.Outside the office, you will find me enjoying anything and everything outdoors with my family - from cycling, hiking, kayaking - really anything that gets my blood pumping and snags some quality time with my wife and kids.
