I help assist Adam the brewer with tasks within the brewhouse which includes milling, mash, boil, hop additions, knock outs, transfers, and running CIP’s. I also assist pouring the finished beers at events.

I started out as a dishwasher and was promoted to the deli then finally to the kitchen. My current duties include preparing and cooking food. I also manage and maintain the packaging of the food we cook for our prepared foods isle.

I am a co-founder of the ShakesBeer Festival a fundraiser event designed to raise money for charities. For this event I managed to coordinate the festival by contacting companies, vendors, and making purchase orders. The event showcases 50+ craft breweries, live music and food vendors. The event was rated one of the top 6 beer fests on the East Coast, and my event was recognized by News 12 CT, CTpost, The Beverage Journal and CTbites. Money raised for the event is donated towards scholarships for Stratford students.

I was a key holder for the store. My job was to place orders with beer distributors and receive the orders. My responsibilities included maintaining the products as they were bought and sold, merchandising products into displays and hand selling beer. Other duties included managing the store and doing invoices.
