I am a personnel specialist second class in the United States Navy Reserve. I served in the navy on active duty from January 2006 until March of 2011 and came to the reserve component immediately after active duty. I have spent the past three and a half years mobilized. I have eight years of superior customer service in personnel administration, payroll and travel processing. I also have excellent skills in many Microsoft Applications including: word, excel, outlook, power point, and access. In my time with the navy I have worked with the following pay programs:o Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS), o Navy and Marine Corps Mobilization Processing System (NMCMPS), o Defense Military Pay Office (DMO), o Military Master Pay Accounts (MMPA), o Defense Joint Military Pay System and Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS)o Experienced in the Defense Travel System (DTS).Based on my knowledge of navy pay and my superior customer service skills, I am considered a subject matter expert in solving navy pay issues. I also posses a valid government drivers license, I am CPR qualified, and I am qualified in material and maintenance management.
