• Receive and track branch courier bags, sort and redistribute all items in order to ensure cheques and documents arrive at the right place and on time.
• Perform accurate, high-speed magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) proof and encoding of un-encoded cheques and other financial documents, with pre-screening of items as required.
• Capture data of cheques and other paper deposit information and forward client transaction data electronically for posting to customer account, while archiving an image of the item for record retention and further.
• Verify ATM envelope transactions, including deposits to customer accounts and payments to the bank or other third parties.
• Image, archive, and balance each document related to an ATM transaction to the customer’s electronic transaction detail files.
