Provides functional oversight to the assigned 96 assigned Chaplain Corp personnel supporting approximately 33,700 professionals operating at two Numbered Air Forces and eleven active duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve wings. Principal advisor to the Air Force Global Strike Commander on matters of religion, ethical and moral concern and quality-of-life issues. Implements functional policy, guidance, goals and the strategic plans of Command mission of developing, equipping and providing combat-ready forces for nuclear deterrence and global strike operations supporting the initiatives of the United States Strategic Command and other geographic combatant commands.

Senior enlisted advisor to the Command Chaplain on all matters affecting the readiness, training, professional development and effective utilization of all assigned Chaplains and Religious Affairs Airmen within the Command. Coordinated with the headquarters staff, commanders, and senior personnel on the development and implementation of command policy and direction in support of air operations (unilaterally or in concert with coalition partners) and the development of contingency plans in support of national objectives for USCENTCOM's 20-nation area of responsibility in Southwest Asia.
