Site Supervisor
Current• Under the Department of State's Worldwide Protective Services (WPS) II program, provides Security and Protection to U.S. Diplomatic, Consular and Department of Defense military and civilian personnel and to all U.S. government property and facilities located at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq• Manages on a daily basis a Static Security team• Responsible for all Access Control Procedures, identifying all persons accessing embassy sites and secure areas, issuing appropriate identification badges and vehicle placards to persons with authorized access to the Chief of Mission Facilities in Iraq• Monitor and operate security systems to include intrusion detection, fire alarm, access control, environmental alerting, and CCTV systems• Ensure that all persons, packages, bags, boxes, crates, vehicles, or other means of introducing material onto the embassy or into the secure areas are inspected for questionable or prohibited items. Means of inspection include, but are not limited to, K-9 teams, metal detectors; explosives trace detectors, X- ray machines and visual examination• Supervised an indigenous Security Guard Force and conducted daily training that focused on security, explosive detection, vehicle and personal searches, entry and exit control, surveillance, first aid, immediate action drills, and firearms
