As the Director of Melbourne Mental Health, I am an experienced senior psychiatrist with a particular focus in sports psychiatry, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I established Melbourne Mental Health to be Victoria's premier mental health precinct supporting independent mental health professionals to provide impeccable patient care in the setting of a strong and cohesive environment bolstered by high quality administrative support.Having worked across both public and private mental health settings I have a diverse and extensive skill set to manage individuals through all levels of complexities. I adopt a transparent and collaborative approach that fosters trusting therapeutic relationships with the aim of empowering individuals to become self-effective agents. My passion for improving mental health literacy sees me regularly presenting and providing training at a variety of public forums. My ultimate goal is to effect change at a systemic level so that mental health support is integrated seamlessly into the lives of all individuals.
