Steven B. Cherry is employed as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist by Wellspan at York Hospital. He also is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Pennsylvania State University Hershey Medical College. His duties include teaching residents and students and he is the Director of Laborist services at York Hospital and a member of the OBGYN Quality Assurance Committee. Much of his clinical time is spent as a Laborist/OBGYN Hospitalist. He has in the past functioned as Department Chairman of OB/GYN, served on the Medical Executive Committee as a member and as Secretary/Treasurer, been chairman of the Laser Committee, and worked as assistant chairman of Utilization Review. He also has considerable experience in Medical Malpractice Case Review and has worked with the Keystone Peer Review Organization both as a case reviewer and an oversight reviewer for those cases reviewed by other physicians. He has worked as a consultant on Tricare quality of care research projects.
