GL events Doha had contracts for the FIFA Football World Cup to provide temporary Power Generation, Match Hospitality, Fox Sports Studio’s and Fan Zones for all main football stadiums, Team hotels and other official and non-officials sites/locations.Work involved installations of Generators, Distribution Boards, Cables, Tents, Stages and Broadcasting facilities. As the QHSE Manager my role was to manage a team of 15 HSE Project HSE Managers, Supervisors and Officers supporting the various projects to ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards 2014, Supreme Committee (Client) and FIFA HSE requirements. Developing policies, plans and procedures to ensure legal compliance throughout the Project. Ensuring the appropriate level of training and competency with regards to Inductions, Core training and Plant & Equipment operations. Liaising with the Supreme Committee, Mosanada (facilities management company), Subcontractors and Suppliers.Key Achievements/Contributions:● Provided direction and guidance to 16-member HSE project team, comprising managers, supervisors, and officers, to surpass Qatar Construction Standards 2014, Supreme Committee (Client), and FIFA Football World Cup HSE mandates.● Identified, formulated, and led endorsement and execution of policies, procedures, and training initiatives for over 500 global staff, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to FIFA World Cup standards.

Working on the Al Diriyah project building a 1.2km long road and utilities tunnel. Managing a team of 7 HSE Supervisors, Officers, Engineers and Environmental personnel. Supporting construction to ensure activities are undertaken in line with both Saudico, DGDA (Client), Supervisory Consultants (AECOM & DORSCH) and Project Management Consultants (Parsons) HSE project requirements. Reporting daily directly to the Saudico HSE Director and the Project Director.

Aggreko was providing temporary power supplies to each of the Olympic and Paralympic venues for the Tokyo 2020 (2021) Olympic and Paralympic games. My role was to support the Venue Teams in ensuring compliance with local legislations, Aggreko’s Orange standards and Standard Zero policies. I provided HSES management support for Chiyoda’s various sites globally, undertaking Root & Cause analysis, assessing serious incidents and inputting into major tenders for LNG projects.May 2012 - Assigned to Japanese Gas Corporation offices in Yokohama to work on the Inpex Ichthy’s US$46bn onshore Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) project in Darwin Australia.Key Achievements/Contributions:• Played a key HSE role in pre-tender evaluations and pre-qualification questionnaires for proposed tender submissions and award of contracts. • Auditing and evaluation of various engineering, fabrication, and construction contractors (Tenderers) across the world e.g. Kawasaki Heavy Engineering, GE Electric, Siemens and Lang O’Rouke for the Chiyoda packages, known as the “Offsite Utilities” these included 4 x Cryogenic tanks, 8 x gas & steam power plants, 18 x non-cryogenic tanks, flare pad, heavy sea lifts and all associated pipework).• Worked with a small team to develop the initial site HSE policies and procedures for the site, prior to breaking ground in Darwin.
