Employed by Powertech for BHP's Commissioning Team, my role was Commissioning Engineer E/Isupervising a team of E/I Commissioning Technicians. Duties included the creation of work packs,test sheets, commissioning procedure, writing and executing HV switching procedures, schedulingand prioritising of work, mobilising vendors and managing team sizes. As one of the seniorPowertech employees on site, I adopted the role of; until the workforce grew innumber to warrant a separate site representative role.
