Provide leadership and management of a team of Senior Systems Engineers in support of the organization's information technology infrastructure. - Provide direction and guidance in support of Active Directory, Exchange 2007, Cisco Networking and Phone Systems, Aruba Wireless networking, Enterprise Desktop Support, EMC VNX storage, HP and Cisco servers, and the CA ArcServ data backup environment.- Perform periodic project management for various IT department projects as well as for various departments within the organization from inception to completion.- Recommend strategies for infrastructure software and hardware deployments and upgrades.- Maintains staff technical proficiencies through cross-training initiatives and by identifying training requirements.- Establish and communicate performance goals and expectations, conduct periodic feedback sessions and coaching, and enforce organizational policies and procedures.

Performed engineering and operational support of the company’s Active Directory, Exchange 2007 and 2010, and Windows server environments.• Successfully migrated over 18 terabytes of corporate data from local storage on six (6) Windows 2003 servers to an EMC VNX SAN - was awarded the company’s “Operational Excellence” award for this project.• As part of a company acquisition, successfully decommissioned an Active Directory 2008 domain which involved migrating Exchange 2010 mailboxes, file servers and application servers into the existing corporate Active Directory forest - was awarded the company’s “Operational Excellence” award for this project.• As part of the company’s goal to virtualize servers, performed a physical to virtual migration of 25 physical Windows 2003 and 2008 servers to VMWare 4.0 guests. • Selected as project lead for the upgrade of the company’s Active Directory forest from the functional level of 2003 to 2008.• Deployed and maintained an Exchange 2007 CCR lab environment as part of a proof-of-concept project for Exchange Web Services applications.• Utilized Microsoft Hyper-V R2, deployed an Exchange 2010 test\development lab consisting of redundant Mailbox, Client Access (CAS), and Hub Transport server roles as well as database availability groups and CAS arrays. • Configured and\or resolved issues pertaining to Group Policy Objects, settings or configurations to include but not limited to drive and printer mappings, folder redirection, and Control Panel settings. • Implemented Exchange 2010 server roles to include mailbox servers as part of a two server Database Availability Group, Client Access Servers, and Hub Transport servers.• Architected a solution to incorporate Exchange 2010 Mailbox, Hub Transport, and Client Access Servers into an existing Exchange 2007 organization spanning multiple Data Centers.• Successfully extended the corporate Active Directory schema for the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Lync Server 2010. Local Area Network\Infrastructure Manager for three geographically separated office buildings to include two in the metropolitan Atlanta area and one in Nashville, TN for a fortune 500 Insurance Brokerage corporation. • Responsible for the architecture, design, coordination and implementation of network infrastructure move from Nashville data center to Franklin, TN center which was a six-month process. This involved the movement of servers, desktops, routers, switches, and circuits.• Responsibilities also included client facing with business unit presidents and executives on issues relating to equipment purchasing, application support, and technology issues. • Designed, deployed, and managed a Windows 2000 Active Directory forest during an eight-month project. Created and managed group policies and user accounts. • Configured and monitored domain controllers, organizational units, sites, DNS, and DHCP.• Utilized Activity Directory security databases and templates, established security policies in accordance with company directives. • Designed, deployed, and performed daily administration of MS Exchange 2000 servers and provided daily support of MS Outlook 2000 clients. • Responsible for ensuring all corporate directed hardware and software projects were fully completed. Initiated and managed projects for all three of the afore-mentioned offices.• Provided inputs and suggestions to the Chief Financial Officer for issues relating to the Information Technology budget.
