Working as part of the UK Store Formats Project team, I am responsible for supporting our Retail colleagues with new store openings (NSO) and associated store format related projects that require support and intervention from our team.This involves regular in-store support to ensure the stores are set up and ready for trade in the agreed store set up time scales. My team is a fundamental part of the store set up process, required for a variety of tasks including furniture and fixture assembling, steering contractors, Support Centre queries, delivery support and subject matter expertise regarding the new store opening processes. I am also required to support the BM and team with on-going advice on the store set up approach and best practice.The role also requires me to be pro-active, use a common sense approach to solving problems/issues and have good judgement when dealing with our stakeholders.

• Daily and weekly updates of the VIP install tracker that is shared to Matt Kelleher in Best Buy• CEDIA and ISF certified installer• Daily travelling to customer residents to install Home theatre and Hands free car kits• Currently covering 3 Best Buy stores (Thurrock, Hayes and Croydon) and ICS area covers Essex and Norfolk• Mobile and store based fitting of hands free car kits• Knowledge and experience of installing all home theatre products that are currently stocked by Best Buy• Knowledge and experience of installing dash mounts and leather consoles• Satellite Navigation in motor homes and cars• Have written a number of Technical Write Ups that are sent to Head Office and published to other engineers.• Contact with other engineers throughout the day to advice on problems that may occur.• Regular visits to Carphone Warehouse shops to educate sales staff on mobile installations.• Trained in the installation of fleet management systems using the can bus interface.• Dealing with customer care issues
