From 2006 till 2009, I worked as a PhD-student on the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University. When my research project was finished, I started as a veterinarian at the animal clinic 'Venhei' (Kasterlee, Belgium). The next four years, I combined this fulltime job with writing my articles concerning my PhD project. In 2014, I graduated as 'Doctor in the Veterinary Sciences'. Up till now, I continued my job as a veterinarian practitioner in farm animals, with emphasis on dairy cattle. In February 2017, I changed from the animal clinic 'Venhei' to the animal practice 'De Zegge' (Geel, Belgium). Since Februari 26, 2018, I started a new chapter as International Product Manager at Nukamel in Weert.
