As a teacher for a 4th grade class, I am responsible for lesson planning and ensuring my students grow academically and morally. Helping students develop their literacy, scientific, and mathematical skills is my priority.

I was hired by UCLA as a teacher's assistant for 3 biology classes (once for MCD BIO 50, a stem cell biology and ethics class, and twice for MCD BIO 90, a stem cell biology course focusing on human medicine). I taught six discussion courses with 20 students each, and I was responsible for reviewing lecture content and analyzing scientific articles. I also performed other TA duties, such as assisting the professor with the organization of the class, grading exams and assignments, and replying to students' emails. Additionally, I held office hours each week for two hours to answer course-related questions from students.

I was hired by the Los Angeles Unified School District as an instructional aide. My position mainly involved me instructing and tutoring elementary school students to help improve their literary, mathematical, and scientific skills. I also assisted with classroom lesson planning for multiple subjects such as math, English, and science.

I was hired by College of the Canyons to assist college students, faculty, and members of the community with their higher education needs. I worked in a team setting that aimed to promote various college resources, such as helping students navigate a path to their educational goals and assisting prospective students to enroll in college. With the position, I was in direct communication with 17,000+ students in addition to staff and community members through in-person, over the phone, and via email.
