Spent ten years working in construction in South Florida.Everything from digging foundations to applying roofing materials.Then worked at RR Donnelley printing facility in Glasgow,Ky for ten years learning all facets of the printing process from receiving materials,working on M3000 and M1000 printing presses and finally shipping the finished product. I currently work at J.M. Smucker in Scotsville, Ky as a plant technician. I have attained skill blocks in packaging, wrappers and I am currently working on my pump room skill block as well as a Functional Leader position in E&T(education and training).I have also taken and passed their mechanical and electrical exams and have applied for a maintenance technician position.Update: I am sorry but it has been almost 4 years since I updated my profile. I accepted the position of maintenance technician for the bakery division and spent 3 years learning, repairing and maintaining the equipment. After careful consideration and my wanting for more knowledge and skills in factory production I joined the Utilities Department. Over the past 10 months I have taken on classes in electrical, mechanical drives, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, waste water, industrial boilers and general building maintenance all with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.I am currently (as of 10/22/21) no longer at J.M. Smucker as they have discontinued education and training for certain employees.
