Worked as part of a hanger maintenance team for 816 Squadron Training Authority where my role was to ensure the serviceability of two Sikorsky S-70B-2 Seahawk helicopter by carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. I'm also a mentor for trainees during there course, assisting trainees to carry out removal and installations of various aircraft parts for their course completion and trade journal completion. I assist trainees with the aircraft documentation, aircraft maintenance publications and tool control procedures to make sure its held to a high standard. I've worked above my job details designing and constructed training aids to assist trainees to better understand aircraft system. I also work with advanced trainees to carry out aircraft troubleshooting by inducing faults into the aircraft for them to find and rectify. I designed a excel spreadsheet to track the trainees progress and keep track of job numbers. Extra duties involve servicing ground support equipment, tool control checks, locking and unlocking buildings, gantry operations, confined space entry, working at heights and general hanger tidiness.
