Career SummaryWith a background rooted in finance and accounting, I started my career, establishing Groshire Homes, Inc. later to become Groshire Development, Inc., as a mid to high end residential builder and developer in Miami, FL with a reputation for quality and integrity. While in Miami, I expanded my company’s focus to larger residential and commercial joint ventures, as well as workout situations in which my creative sense and keen negotiation competencies proved successful for me, my partners, and my investors generating $126.4 million in revenue. In 1997, I moved my company to Vail Colorado creating 19 LLC’s raising approximately $10 million in investment capital resulting in a return to my investors of between 27% and 33% cash on cash per annum. Since 2001, I have resided in the Northern Virginia area where I spent the first two years in corporate management focused on land acquisition working for McCar Homes Corp. of Atlanta as a way to acquaint myself with the area and develop relationships. Currently as the President and Managing Principal for Capitol Development Partners, LLC established in 2003, renamed The Capitol Group. I have specialized in market-driven real-estate land acquisition, entitlement, development, construction and consultation for regional and national builders / development clients and investor groups.
