Why do I do content? My brother was 10, I was 12. We were fighting, our parents were out, and we broke an expensive lamp in our family’s living room—shattered glass everywhere. As we cleaned up, I decided to get in front of this thing. I wrote an earnest but entertaining letter about the night’s events and taped it to the front door. In the end, I had to pay up for the lamp (naturally), but, I swear, Mom and Dad entered the house that night smiling. Looking back, it was the first time I’d conjured the awesome power of “content”—and it stuck with me. Great content helps all parties. It’s a win-win.And “win-win” is what we bring to our clients today at Lexaeon. We help companies clarify their images, connect with their audiences and strengthen their brands by, first, truly understanding our clients’ businesses and goals…second, understanding what their audiences really want…and third, bringing all of that into alignment with meticulously planned messaging and content optimization. We know the financial industry especially well because (long after my lamp-breaking days) I was a financial reporter, columnist and editor, and our CEO, Lex Nabarro, was senior director for communications at the world’s largest hedge fund. If you’re a leader at a financial company, you’ll find that we "get you" the moment we meet. But we love to bring our brand-boosting “Clarity in Messaging” to companies in other sectors, too.At Lexaeon, our mindset is that we don’t provide “services.” We create and execute plans that are designed to achieve your goals. Our pitch to you would never be “We can provide these services,” but instead, “We can help you reach these goals.” Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for a chat about what your goals or issues might be—related to your branding, your image, internal or external communications, your content, your website or other digital, or the image of one of your key executives. We’ll listen carefully and then tell you how we might approach solving what you want solved. For you and your audience—whoever that audience might be—it’s a win-win.
