• Leading a new subteam of ~8 engineering students in the development of the chassis, rocker-bogie suspension, and propulsion system for a rover, with the intention to compete in the University Rover Challenge 2025 competition.• Work includes mechanical design, static and dynamic modeling, stress and strain analysis, motor selection and CAD.

• Engineered a Python-based flight simulation tool using the RocketPy package to model a 1,000 lbf thrust vehicle, analyzing flight loads and stress states to inform the design of key structural components. Also utilized OnShape’s FEA tools for stress analysis.• Played an integral role throughout the engineering lifecycle of an Augmented Spark Igniter (ASI) concept, from initial design and testing to implementation at 100 psi, ensuring both innovation and reliability in high-pressure conditions. The ASI burns Ethane and Nitrous at an O/F of 4 for a target burn time of 3 seconds, and successfully ignited in February 2024 for a 1 second burn time.

• Integrated novel navigation methods with existing ones to afford small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) greater autonomy, accuracy, and reliability, in extreme environments.• Led the problem characterization of implementing celestial navigation as a secondary navigation method for small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS), identifying key technical challenges and driving the selection of a solar-based solution leveraging a CCD camera array and magnetometer, based on a detailed literature review.• Spearheaded the design of a MATLAB script that simulates inertial measurements as well as solar-tracker data to produce a two-dimensional Gaussian location estimation ellipsoid optimized for control system integration (Kalman Filters). • Improved operational efficiency through a data-driven approach, cutting runtime for navigation estimation by over 95%.

• Enhanced student comprehension by clarifying complex concepts and guiding them through problem-solving strategies in “Statics” and "Introduction to Computing for Engineers and Scientists." (~7hrs/wk). • Collaborated with instructors to implement curricula covering static mechanics, stress and strain analysis, beam and shaft design, object-oriented programming, elementary numerical methods, and data analysis (C, C++, & MATLAB).

• Promoted twice to shift manager, oversaw the general store operations during shifts (20-40hrs/week).• Coordinated 15-20 employees based upon individual skillsets per shift, ultimately to facilitate training and maximize store productivity.• Worked after-hours to develop reference training materials for the store’s continued use to aid in the training process and to standardize store-wide operations.
