Responsible for the day to day running of 24/7 diverse transport operation. Operating a mixed fleet of vehicles ensuring the transportation and operations are managed effectively.•Responsible in ensuring fleet and crews operate fully compliant and to budget. Lupprians acquired Romac September 2011. My role initially was to support the transition of the 2 businesses ensuring business continuity while cross training was implemented. I assumed the role of Head of Centralised Planning and Scheduling with an aim to add consistency and cost effective scheduling that would unite all sites across the UK. I was responsible in ensuring all transport teams at relevant depots had training plans in place to take on new business sectors and that the same planning model was implemented across the depots. In October 2012 I took on the role of managing the entire Milton Keynes transport role at our new location.

The business grew as I developed; I progressed to managing the warehouse as the business sectors grew. In 2005 there was a management buyout; I then progressed into account management looking after several large accounts.In 2007 I progressed to scheduling and planning in the transport department, eventually being promoted to Transport Manager for the Milton Keynes site in 2009. I was responsible for day to operation of a fleet of circa 25 LGV vehicles including specialist Lorry loaders. The crews circa 30 multi skilled individuals trained in operating a wide range of manual handling equipment, working at height, stair crawler, scoots, power tools, conducting site surveys, commissioning and decommissioning of equipment from all business sectors.
