Responsible for Hardware engineering develop labs for multiple business areas in multiple locations and states.Managed and maintained over 500+ calibrated equipment with the Metrology department to supporting programs.Creating an Electrostatic discharged (ESD) environment to assure sensitive components and material are not compromised when handling during installation.Create, maintain, and sustain a safe compliant engineering lab for all work in by scheduling, coordinated and executing weekly and quarterly Product and Safety audits as well as Gemba walks with upper management.

Served as a focal point to communicate and resolve issues, maintained cost, quality and delivery standards of the Highly Empowered Work Team. Understood and ensured product costs were achieved Coordinated with internal and external customers as necessary to ensure commitments were met. Coached and helped develop team members as the Highly Empowered Work Team was implemented. Assured the HEWT members had the necessary training and the matrices were maintained. Maintained product flow and demand pull. Provided support to the Factory Manager to ensure the FSA, Utilization, and Indirect Expense rates were achieved. Assured all lab equipment calibrations are up to date and OTN status is compliant. Performed regular lab tours to assure that any/all safety issues were identified and addressed. Drove Root Cause determinations during problem resolution events. Boundary Management, tracking equipment movement, maintained appropriate records and reports. Chemical inventory maintenance, assured all materials are available and system legal.

Oversaw 40+ employees in a high volume, fast-paced ESD sensitive mechanical assembly / test environment for several Government/Commercial Programs in six different production labs.Responsible for human resource management, production scheduling, safety and ergonomics, administration of company Policy and Procedures, personal professional growth, business and environmental ethics, and assurance of Continuous Improvement in all aspects of the business.
