Graduated April 2019 in Sport Management at Durham College, Steven Dilks is a sports marketing enthusiast and an accomplished collegiate athlete and team leader. He seeks out leadership roles whether it be in academics or team sports and competes at the varsity level in men’s rugby and at the extramural level in men’s hockey. For the past 6 years, Steven has brought his creativity, humour and strong interpersonal skills in his programming of activities at the City of Ottawa’s summer camp program. Steven is passionate about athletics and fiercely proud of his educational institution. During his first year at Durham College, he lobbied the director of varsity sports and student athletes in order to bring back varsity rugby to the college. His determination and infectious spirit resulted in the successful debut of Durham College Men and Woman’s rugby in 2017. As family and friends is of prime importance to Steven, he spends his free time with them enjoying movies, music and various outdoor activities.
