I excel at creating custom machine learning applications that tackle complex business challenges. My objective is to maximize results for both the customer and the organization.Among other responsibilities at Blue Water, I manage DPX, our proprietary mortgage pricing engine that combines the accuracy of Monte Carlo simulations with the speed of legacy, grid-based methods. This enables precise, real-time purchases and reliable, instant portfolio valuations. Our new Audit-Ready DPX leverages interpretable machine learning to enable fast, accurate and 100% explainable pricing.Before Blue Water, I designed, implemented and taught university-level business analytics courses as a tenure-track professor. I was trained by and instructed at Elon University, the #1 Undergraduate Teaching University in the nation (according to U.S. News and World Report). I continue to enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge whenever the opportunity presents itself.I am passionate about learning anything and everything new. In particular, I enjoy learning about and discussing AI, machine learning, business analytics, data science, computer science and business in general.
