Other responsibilities included helping manage a multi-million dollar project for Simplexity’s largest client and facilities planning for Simplexity’s new Vancouver office expansion.

During my time with FOARM, I introduced design standards, design documentation, project scheduling and computer aided design (CAD) to the dept. I was personally responsible for designing all new products and tooling, developing new construction techniques and pushing manufacturing technology. I advanced their manufacturing capabilities by developing new designs and processes to facilitate those design. FOARM was a compression molder of semi-rigid foam-laminate sewn products. They invented the process so widely used today to produce soft-cases. After my resignation in 1999, FOARM regularly contracted me to design products and tooling for them until 2010 when they were purchased by Polo Custom Products.
