My name is Steven Doe, I moved to northern ireland 8 years ago and have worked in my current role ever since. I attended Poole Grammar School where I gained 11 GCSE’s, then went on to achieve 3 A-Levels in Geography, Geology and Biology. During this time my Mother was diagnosed with a terminal brain cancer so I chose not to go to University and stay at home to help look after her, working when I could. I had a summer job at Poole Quay Boat Haven as a Marina Assistant for two seasons which I thoroughly enjoyed. This involved booking and checking in customers as they arrived at the marina, taking payments, cashing up, helming the water taxi, and various other tasks.I then moved back onto dry land as a Service advisor at Westover Nissa. I originally joined as a Motability Sales assistant then moved into service after approximately 6 months for a tougher challenge. It requires a high level of organisational skills and an ability to prioritise high amounts of work. During my free time, I like to be out and about as much as I can. I enjoy wakeboarding, sailing, tennis, and of course football! I also love travelling and visiting new places both in the UK and abroad.I am often tasked with running the service desk on my own when others are away and am always ready to take on more responsibility.
