My professional career began by enlisting in the United States Navy. It was there that I learned professionalism and discipline. I answered to my superiors and performed the tasks assigned to me to the best of my ability. When I had gained in rank it was my responsibility to ensure that those I was placed in charge of were also able to accomplish their tasks as well. I am proud to have served five years and earned my Honorable Discharge. Shortly upon returning home I enrolled in school and was fortunate to find employment at Texas Health Resources. I worked for there for a number of years doing medical records. I quickly learned the ins and outs of an office job and met many good and genuine people who helped me grow in a corporate culture. After leaving THR I was quite fortunate to find employment with CoServ Electric. An amazing company that has provided me many learning experiences and opportunities in regards to customer service. I have strived to grow as an employee in my knowledge and I am currently seeking to advance myself further in the company. To summarize my professional skills I would begin by saying that I sincerely enjoy working with others and being able to help customers. When given any assignment I ensure that I commit myself fully to the task at hand. My leadership skills involve knowing who I am working with and learning their skills and delegating accordingly to provide the best results. Working with customers on a daily basis I have handled situations ranging from anger and tears to genuine gratitude. I have learned people are people and treating everyone equally with respect and understanding more often then not provides the best results.
