Steven Dumas is Vice President of our Rhode Island and South Eastern Massachusetts group. Steven came to New England Mechanical Services as a Service Sales Engineer in 1998, and was responsible for establishing operations in Rhode Island. In August 2001, Mr. Dumas was promoted to Rhode Island Branch Manager. He was promoted to Vice President in March of 2013. His responsibilities include the overall management of Sales, Operations, and Administrative personnel for the group.Steven has over 35 years of experience in the HVAC Industry and has pursued career advancement by attending the continuing business education program at both Rhode Island College and Bryant College. He also completed a two-year, in-house management development curriculum course conducted by EMCOR Facilities Services.Steven holds an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal Refrigeration Certification, a Mas-sachusetts Refrigeration Technician license (tonnage unlimited), Massachusetts Sheet Metal Contractors license and a Rhode Island Contractor Master Refrigeration license (tonnage unlimited). Steven is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), The Rhode Island Association of School Maintenance Directors, The Association of Building Contractors (ABC), the Association of Facilities Engineers (AFE), the North Central Chamber of Commerce, the Providence Chamber of Commerce, and an active Member of the RI Chapter of Building Owners & Managers Association (RIBO).Steven serves on the Board of Directors for multiple nonprofit organizations, including: Bishop Keough Regional High School, Mobile Loaves and Fishes (MLF), Living Water International NE, The New England Synod ELCA Global Mission Team, and The New England Synod ELCA School of Theology. Steven also serves as an appointed member of the City of East Providence Harbor Management Commision
