Working on numerous design projects and manufacturing solutions, I have developed and practiced multiple skills; inter-departmental consultation and support, overseen project design and planning, performed and organised testing, task delegation, 3D CAD modeling (Inventor and AutoCAD), FEA, IT, MRP, logistics, manufacturing and design implementation, customer liaising and field visits.

I worked with a team of drafters and engineers, designing and modeling vehicles based on requirements from the customer. As part of my responsibilities I was required to adhere to the specifications and ADR's (Australian Design Rules) whilst providing design solutions with emphasis on quality, cost and ease of manufacture. The company also performs general fabrication and design for mining equipment and special projects.I worked in a team on a special project – the design, 3D modeling and in-house fabrication of a Bucyrus 8750 dragline operator’s cabin. The dragline itself is one of the largest in the world, weighing in at over 5,500 tonnes and moving 170 tonnes in one bucket. The entire operators cabin and anteroom was modeled in SolidWorks by a co-worker and myself; from the initial base structure and handrails through to the interior fit out and wiring.
