I have worked successfully with large project teams for over 10 years to ensure compliance with internal security standards and Federal security legislation for web-based and network communications at various federal agencies. I last supported an effort to at the Bureau of Land Management with the process of organizing documentation for the Agency’s major IT applications and general support systems undergoing the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process, formally called Certification and Accreditation (C&A) for compliance with the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) 800-53 and other Federal guidelines. I am looking to transition into private industry.

  As a Security Analyst I supported the Bureau of Land Management’s Information Resource Management group with A&A documentation. My primary tasks were:• Completing and producing the required documentation at each designated site including but not limited to Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), System Security Plans (SSP), Contingency Plans (CP), Configuration Management Plans (CMP)• Utilized the Department of Justice Cyber Security Assessment and Management (CSAM) tool to manage all C&A documents and artifacts completing process in half the time
