About Steven Farran
I have been in the Non-Destructive Testing industry since January of 2006. I was a lab technician for 15 years, earning a Level 2 certification in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonics, and Radiography. I also have extensive experience in hardness testing, x-ray fluorescence analysis (PMI), Eddy Current, and other inspection methods.In 2021 I received my ASNT Level 3 certifications in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Radiography. I have since been acting as the Certification Program Manager at my current employer. I am responsible for the training and examination of employees, along with record keeping and technical consultation on future contracts.I absolutely love what I do. I am passionate about quality inspections and I understand the importance of the work my colleagues and I do. I am always looking to learn more and am excited for the future of this industry.
