• Responsibility for development and maintenance of the department’s budget, overall operations, and policies and procedures.• Develops and implements systems to ensure effective and efficient operations and services.• Review all ADA compliance• Responsible for all fixed and para-transit routes• Explores best practices and internal customer survey data to improve and expand services, training, quality assurance and daily practice and program growth. • Ensures that services and programs operate in compliance with health and safety and all other regulations• Direct and coordinate all approved programs, projects, and activities of the Transit Department.• Assumes human resources responsibilities of direct reports to include: interviewing and hiring, counseling, training, disciplining, and evaluating work performance of staff

• Designs and develops training programs to assure maximum effectiveness and strong customer orientation of employees• Determines learning objectives and instructional methods to ensure objectives are met• Design and supervise a new state of the art Training Center• Responsible for company training programs➢ Conduct and supervise in training of Operators (Bus & Para-Transit)➢ Conduct and organize training of Maintenance personnel➢ Conduct and participates in training of Administration personnel Ensure proper formulate of collective bargaining proposals during grievance and contract negotiations.• Previews training videos and programs to determines effectiveness usage that will provide growth• Gather data and writes reports to show correlation between training and on-the-job performance• Serves as a strategic business partner with senior-level managers throughout the recruitment cycle to develop effective recruitment strategies and requirements• Develop e-learning courses and new transit technologies for training• Manage performance of Apprentice Mechanics• Design and train on Occupational Safety and Health Administration for the organization to stay within standards
