*Ownership of third party revenue*Preparation of third party rates & tax consequences for tenders and proposals*Liaising with tax globally to ensure correct tax treatment for transactions*Consolidate information for external auditors*Provide Senior Management with Technical Guidance on accounting issues.* Perform monthly reviews of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts relating to area of responsibility, including business indicators such as profitability* Present monthly analysis on costs and revenue* Identify weaknesses in internal control and suggest improvements* Develop and evaluate business or project financial metrics and drivers* Support mentoring and development of Accountants* Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis or projects as required* Control and preparation of general ledger entries including prepayments, accruals, allocations, etc. to comply with SOXs

- Preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in line with reporting timetable- Support/Preparation of budget forecast- Monthly Payroll- Project Cost Reporting- Ad hoc finance support as required

• Regional monthly consolidations for UK Financial Controller;• Liaise with the commercial department to ensure we are tax compliant for upcoming projects;• Deal with ad hock tax queries the business managers may have and ensure the business is WHT and VAT compliant and exemptions/reductions are in place where applicable;• Preparation and submission of Company VAT return on a monthly basis; • Prepare and review monthly results in source accounting system prior to upload into HFM;• Prepare monthly management accounts for distribution to senior management;• Attend monthly accounts review with senior management;• Liaise with Business Line managers on a regular basis to ensure their needs are met;• Review inter-company matching reports in HFM post group upload deadline and reconcile any differences;• Prepare various journals in line with month end timetable – Prepayments, depreciation, depreciation recovery against projects, fuel, vessel running costs, labour allocation and overhead allocations;• Prepare monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet codes;• Ownership of Fugro Survey LTD clearing process to ensure all inter company invoices are paid.

Responsible for the preparation of: • monthly PRT provisions and CT effective tax rate calculation; • monthly CT True Up Calculations; • PRT and CT numbers for monthly tax reforecasts; • interim and full year UK tax numbers for audit review; • UK CT returns for UK and overseas legal entities;• UK monthly VAT returns; and• Laising with international advisors;.

Responsible for the preparation of: • month end reporting for responsible budget page's; • monthly forercast for responsible budget page's; • re-allocation of budgets/costs following month end analysis; • attend various project groups with a view of implementing improved processes and accounting systems; and• liase and supply operational staff with financial information on a monthly basis;.
