I am a 1990 graduate of NYU School of Law, and have been practicing as an attorney in New York City since 1990. I am currently a partner at Clausen Miller P.C. The focus of my practice for the last twenty years has been advising insurance carriers on insurance coverage issues, and representing them in declaratory judgment actions. I am proud of my success rate in winning summary judgment in many of those actions, and in achieving beneficial settlements in those where settlements were warranted. I am a proponent of mediation and early resolution where appropriate. Prior to handling coverage matters, I handled general liability defense matters up to, and through, jury trials where I was the first chair, and have a strong record of summary judgment wins in general liability matters as well. A smaller part of my practice has involved handling general litigation, corporate matters for closely held businesses, and commercial leasing. I am admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New York, and before the federal courts in the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York.
