1.Put together first preliminary costed BOM (material and tooling costs): use cost models, supplier quotes and/or cost estimates to provide specific cost2.Work creatively to support Business Manager/Sales to address customer special requests3.Determine preliminary make vs buy strategy, Decide for early supplier involvement (on specific parts)4.Align CQA inputs to put into CQA BOM in a roundtable discussion - to agree on input for next round negotiation with the customer5.Internal Purchasing kick-off to inform team about program win with milestones and basic components information6.Initiate Tracking of Cost and Timing, Load BOM in PTS with basic part number, CQA price, and timing agreed with PM and team7.Identify potential supplier from the bid list and confirm/include consideration from CQR phase8.Establish / conduct open issues list with suppliers and complete timing9.Order samples (Closed orders) and track shipments as necessary for parts that are not (yet) ordered via delivery schedules (from production supplier)10.After closed project work, complete documentation and SOP handover to production support
