After spending a lot of my time playing video games and researching different sciences, I ended up finding myself majoring in both Game Design and Physics at High Point University.As a game design major, I took classes that improved my general game development skills and electives that improved specific skills like: User Interface Design, Narrative Design, Level Design, and Digital Game Prototyping. Inside and outside of class, I consistently worked in all fields of game design and have a passion for both designing and programming. All of the projects I have currently worked on have been in Unreal Engine but I am open to learning any engine. I use my physics major to fuel my problem solving skills and my intellectual curiosity for the world around me. Studying physics allowed me to challenge myself to constantly improve my proficiency in math, programming, and research. I even found unique ways to incorporate my game design skills within my physics major by doing projectile motion research within Unreal Engine and creating games like Quantum Checkers.
