Steve is Executive Director of the Latin America Employee Relations Group and founder of Bluefin Human Resources Consulting. He is also a Sr. Advisor on Global Human Resources for the HR Policy Association, and supports the Brussels European Employee Relations Group (BEERG) on US matters. Steve was most recently the CHRO for the P3 Network Alliance, a proposed vessel operations joint venture by the world’s three largest container shipping companies.. He was previously an HR leader with Maersk as a Group Vice President of their combined North American businesses, and later as head of HR for the Maersk Line activities in both North America and Latin America. He also served as chair of their Global Labour Relations Council. Previous roles with international companies included SCA Group as VP HR for North America and then as head of executive talent and leadership development in Stockholm, and VP HR for the Americas with Messer Griesheim (a subsidiary of the former Hoechst). Steve has a strong and comprehensive US background including both unionized and union-free environments. His industry experience includes oilfield services and equipment, OTC consumer products, chemicals, manufacturing, utilities, wholesale baking, and logistics.He has developed and implemented positive employee relations audits and training programs, negotiations strategy and contingency planning, executive assessment and succession processes, and business restructuring, integration, and spin-off/sale initiatives on both national and international levels.He has been active with the HR Policy Association CHRO, Labor and International groups, served as Chair of the Stockholm International School, and participated on the Executive Board of Unitech (a European consortium of technology driven companies and universities),
