I first began working within this industry as a Water Treatment engineer, where my tasks would be to carry out chlorinations/disinfections and a full BSRIA flush on closed water systems - ensuring all works carried out are fully compliant with regulations. After working predominantly as a WT engineer, I found my way to the Commissioning side, where my responsibilities now include the pre-commissioning, testing and balancing and final witnessing of air and water systems (from the initial pre-works validation up to handover stage). Along the way, gaining understanding of how various systems operate in working conditions and how each component operates within these systems.If I'm not on the tools, I'm working in the office carrying out various roles such as quoting, issuing RAMS to clients, applying for discharge licences, etc. I believe it is fundamentally important and I feel privileged to have the experience between working out on site as well as in the office as this has provided me with a broader spectrum of knowledge within the industry and how a business is run.Credited Grade 1 Part A and B, now currently enrolled onto Part C of the CSA course to develop my skillset and gain further understanding of what it takes to become a highly trained engineer.
