Assigned to the Engineering Training Group to help develop a new career course for personnel joining the Queen Elizabeth Carrier Class, using my 2 years of experience on the brand-new aircraft carrier to provide a unique perspective to the planning process.I am also responsible for both managing and training new recruits, making sure they have the skillset.

Joined the new carrier before her maiden deployment to the USA to conduct flying serials and test pilots in the cutting-edge F-35 Fighter Jet. I oversaw the system that dealt with mission planning, planned maintenance, analytics and logistics of the F-35, which was a top priority to the command and a highly challenging position as it was the first time the.

Attended one of the first conversion courses for engineering Leading Hands to be cross trained in all engineering sub-branches. This involved training in electrical engineering, supervision of routine maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of RADAR/SONAR systems and extensive Networking and IT modules.

Posted to an embarked staff that oversaw the operation of 4 mine hunter ships in the Persian Gulf, my responsibilities included; liaising with the engineering heads of each ship, compiling the details of all defects and briefing the command in order to prioritise repairs and maintain operational effectiveness.

My first posting after successful completion of initial training, where I was deployed to the Middle East for 7 months and quickly established myself as a valuable member of the team and was very shortly selected for promotion to Leading Hand.
