Our mission is to help prevent the development of heart disease, diabetes, obesity and cancer in those at risk, as well as ensure that those who are already affected are able to improve their long-term health and prognosis. Through education, individualized exercise programs, counseling, pharmacological intervention, and psycho-social support, our goal is to reduce an individual's modifiable risk factors and improve their quality of life. CHIP staff members are also committed to doing internationally recognized research to further the knowledge surrounding heart disease prevention and rehabilitation.
