Dr. Steven Han-Min Chen is the co-founder of ENERGENESIS BIOMEDICAL. He has more than 20 year- experience of biomedical research. His expertise is biochemistry, enzymology, and the production of monoclonal antibodies. He is also good at find the drug leads using systems biology analysis. In 2010, Dr. Chen developed the ENERGI platform which employed a small molecule compound to activate AMP protein kinase (AMPK) that regulates the homeostasis of metabolism and increases intracellular ATP, for treating various kinds of diseases. Dr. Chen has published more than 50 SCI articles and dozens of patents, and served as the editors of the internationally well-known journals such as Proteomics and Journal of Proteome Research. Ever since obtaining his Ph. D. degree from the department of agricultural chemistry, National Taiwan University, Dr. Chen served as post-doctoral fellow in the Childrens Hospital, LA. He returned to Taiwan in 2002 and had been served as the director of the center of biomedical and photo-electronics, the associate dean of college of science and engineering, and the tenured professor in the department of life science of Catholic Fu-Jen University.
