The role of the Operations Leader is a multifaceted and fast paced. The role includes control of a suspension preheater tower and 14,000 ton per day kiln system, Vertical Roller Mills and all of the associated auxiliary equipment required for additive and fuel reclamation. In this rotating role you are also the primary contact for field technicians as a Field Supervisor, ensuring safety and productivity in the field. When in the control room, protection of the people and the equipment is at the forefront of everything you do, while working to achieve our quality and production targets.

The role of Cement Technician encompassed maintenance routines on pneumatic transport systems such as silos and air slides as well as bucket elevators and loadout equipment required to load barges, railcars and trucks. The job also included various larger scale maintenance routines on vertical roller mills and the associated hydraulic and lubrication systems. The role likewise included the creation of Job Safety Analysis and regular use of Preventive Maintenance Routines to ensure a high Mean Time Between Failure.
