With a strong emphasis on chemistry, engineering, manufacturing and customer service, Steve leads IBC’s team to meet the needs of IBC’s worldwide customer base for MRT™ products, processes and services. He is a Gold member of the International Precious Metals Institute (IPMI), has served on the IPMI Board of Directors and received the IPMI Jun-Ichiro Tanaka Distinguished Achievement Award for entrepreneurial contributions to the precious metals industry. Steve is also a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, the American Chemical Society, and a Registered Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration, satisfying the “Qualified Person (QP)” requirement under Canadian Instrument NI 43-101. He holds a B.A. degree (University Scholar, High Honors) in Chemistry from Brigham Young University and two S.M. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Chemical Engineering Practice and in Technology and Policy.Prior to IBC, Steve worked as a management consultant for PA Consulting Services, Inc. and Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte Consulting), where he served as a charter member of the Advisory Board of a Philadelphia-area business incubator, The Pennsylvania State University Technology and Business Development Center, in Great Valley, PA. He also worked as a project manager for a new business start-up and as an engineer (technology transfer and ventures) at Bethlehem Steel Corporation, where he studied entrepreneurship, new product innovation and strategic management part-time as a Special Doctoral Student (no degree) at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania).
